\nAt HQS we develop software to use quantum computers, not just for understanding them. In this talk, we will give an overview of our work ranging from material science to quantum information and show career opportunities at HQS.<\/p>\n

Speaker profile:<\/strong> Dr. Iris Schwenk is Co-Founder and COO of HQS Quantum Simulations. HQS, founded in 2017, aims to bridge the gap between research and industry in the field of quantum computing, to exploit the immense potential of quantum computers to accelerate the development of new materials in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and materials industry. Iris received her Ph.D. in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2018. As COO, she is now responsible for efficient business operations and organizational development. She also heads the department which develops the customer-facing software.<\/p>\n
